Trump reviews a secret document with Mexico in front of reporters, and the lenses of photographers reveal their content

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday (June 11, 2019) told reporters that the plan was "secret", stressing the details of a regional asylum project agreed with Mexico to avoid threats to impose tariffs on the latter. Mexicans have revealed many of them, according to the newspaper The Guardian British.

But Trump, who considered illegal immigration to be a priority, blamed Mexico for the problem. Since he ran for president in 2016, no document has been announced or given any details. However, the press releases published by Reuters gave reporters a chance to read parts of them.

Last week, Mexico signed an agreement to control the flow of people from Central America, which included the deployment of 6,000 members of the new National Guard along its border with Guatemala.

Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Eberard explained that Mexico had also agreed to a 45-day timetable to show that increased law enforcement efforts had been effective in reducing the flow of individuals.

If that fails, Mexico agrees to consider the long-standing US demand that US asylum seekers from Central America who cross from Mexico apply for refuge from Mexico, not the United States, making Mexico a "third safe country" , A requirement long rejected by Mexico.

"The idea of a safe third country may be applied if we fail, and we accept what they say," Eberard said on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Mexican legislators will consider assimilating these changes in immigration law.

However, Eberard said other Latin American countries should share the burden, which the United States seems to agree with.
